The Boomer Generation has been waiting for this debut novel, proving there is life after 40 and 50! Conspiracy, jealousy, revenge, accidents, and murder all take place in a small Indiana town. Kate, a woman finding her strength and place in the world, shows classy equals vulnerability, compassion and instinct. Doris, lets just say, proves that what you see isn't always what you get. You find you are rooting for these characters and want to know what they will be embroiled in next.I hope to read the next adventure in this enjoyable series.

The authors writing is smooth and appears to have a hint of a sense of humor!! The characters were so lifelike and believable. I didn't want to put this book down. It held my attention all the way through and I didn't want it to end. This is one author that I'll keep reading!!!

I enjoyed getting to know the characters in this book and look forward to Kate & Doris's next adventure. This is an easy to read book with delightful references to accurate areas in Indiana.

 

This is a great mystery story

This is a great mystery story. Very easy reading. It has a little of everything in it. (except the sex). I enjoyed it very much and would recommend it to anyone. My mother is an avid reader and read it also. She said she also enjoyed it very much. I'm looking forward for the next one to come out!!

This is a great book for an afternoon or evening inside. It's a fast read, the characters are fun, and the plot sucks you in right away.

 

Loved it!

Almost abducted is suspenseful, funny, and full of surprises. The main characters are likable and easy to identify with. Tricia Durrant's writing makes for a smooth and easy read. Good book for anyone who loves a mystery with a great story. Looking forward to the next book in series!
